Getting in touch with the creator within

Collage has always been my favorite technique, something with the layers forming on the page and the combination between different materials creates magic. When I discovered the Focusing method, I felt at home.  There too, the work is in layers, only this time these are the layers inside me, the different materials that are me.

In the workshop we will use practical tools from the Focusing method to investigate questions such as: Where do the ideas come from? How to overcome barriers and blockages in our creative process and connect to inspiration? How to bring more freedom to our creative process?

We will create using the collage technique, which allows us to form something new and different from familiar elements, to hide and reveal, to disassemble and restore. Making a particular composition that brings something new: the familiar returns to us in an unfamiliar way and connects us to a different kind of knowledge that exists within us.
