During the 1940s there were a number of double-decker buses throughout Tel Aviv, brought especially from London. Due to operational problems, they gradually went out of service . Ultimately only one of them remained and operated throughout the 1950's as line 51, Tel Aviv to Petach Tikva. Here it is during the harsh winter of 1951.
