Habima Theatre is the national theatre of Israel and one of the first Hebrew language theatres. It was founded in Bialistok, Russia in 1914. Some of its members immigrated to Israel in 1928 and established their new home in Tel-Aviv. First it operated from a hall on 80 Rothschild St., and in 1946 moved to it’s permanent home, seen in this photo.
