Rudi captured through his lends the embodiment of a lifeguard: the sharp look, a wide-brimmed hat held high, whistle held in mouth, and tiny shorts. What makes this image so good in our opinion, is the sharp point of view, as if the viewer is a beach goer looking up to the guard's post, in a position that is serious but also amused.
